We run an autumn block calving dairy business, with a focus on forage and quality genetics. I am a partner in the business and started as a new entrant myself several years ago. The farm has a new parlour and has recently invested in new silage storage clamp.
Our goals for the next 5 years:
- To continue to run a profitable business
- To reduce the farms reliance solely on my input
- To improve further the genetics and farm output
