Specialism(s):  Business and financial management

  • Managing change and problem solving come naturally to farmer and floral expert Beth Jennings, who in recent years has addressed her fair share of both!   Beth combines working alongside her husband at their lowland beef, sheep and arable farm business with her part time role as an experienced qualified florist.
  • At the forefront of strategic business planning since the couple took over Beth’s family farm as well as their own around 13 years ago, this busy wife and mum has significant experience of business and financial management.   The couple restructured their original business model extensively, looking at strengths and weaknesses and drawing up a new business plan which focuses on efficiency, sustainable land management and profitability.
  • Beth has had significant previous experience of liaising with farmers, growers, supply chain partners and customers.   Having successfully overcome numerous business and financial challenges herself, she is looking forward to supporting other farmers as they work towards their goals within the supportive atmosphere of her Agrisgôp group.   Expect to be inspired by her ability to adapt, her willingness to  ‘expect the unexpected’ and to learn from other like-minded individuals as you work towards finding solutions to problems.
  • Artistic and creative, Beth describes herself as self-motivated and focused.  A good listener and communicator in both Welsh and English  –  many years of working with rural organisations and individuals in North Wales have given her a breadth of experience and networks she is happy to share.
